Website updates

Time and health have finally allowed me to work a bit on the website. I have re-vamped the structure, but you probably won’t see most of that as many of the pages are hidden. A couple of pages you will be able to see however, are under the “Contact” area. Code to allow you to call me toll free (from within the USA), has been added along with a new form to request information.

When you have time, please take a peek at them and let me know what you think! :)

Black and White Additions

I have managed to convert and work on 4 additional images from our trip to Duluth. These are all B&W images, converted from the D3x by NIK Silver Efex Pro. Back when I used to shoot film regularly, my first choice for black and white was Kodak’s T-Max 100, a relatively new film (introduced in the late ’80s, roughly 30 years younger than Kodak’s other B&W standards) which utilized a different grain structure and was more “contrast oriented”. These image conversions reflect that preference, through my utilization of NIK’s “film emulation” feature.

Other images will follow as we make additional trips to Lake Superior but this is probably the last of the images from our December 2011 trip. Hopefully we can get back up there soon!  :)

Finally, a new portfolio

I am starting to add a new portfolio, one that concentrates on the Lake Superior Region of the United States. I have tentatively named the portfolio as America’s North Coast…. Images are starting to work their way out on to Facebook and Google+ (links on bottom of page), they are posted here for your convenience as well. :)

Please bear with me….. taking a little longer than expected

Well, much longer than expected. My medical issues had caused quite a few delays. Now, I have lost all of my work on the website I had performed over the summer. So, here we go again, starting from scratch……

For anyone who may need access to the old website, it can be found at: http://www.williamcgardner.com/archive

Thank-you for your patience!
